Welcome to Cait & Olivia!
Hi. I am Becki and Cait & Olivia are the middle names of my daughters. I thought they might be embarrassed if I named my business after their first names so Cait & Olivia it is!
I specialize in all things digital for parents of busy students and athletes. I have a Senior Portrait Photography business, Cait & Olivia Photography and am based in the Apex, North Carolina area. My daughters were competitive Cheerleaders and this is my first year in a very long time with no child in sports in my house. My girls are grown, but I learned an awful lot as a team mom and parent of busy kids in girls sports and Cait & Olivia is how I want to help parents enjoy this time a bit more because believe me, it goes by so fast!
Growing up I was an athlete. I played ice hockey and baseball on boys teams. I also danced and was Captain of my Cheerleading team as well as other girls sports throughout the years like tennis, softball and track.
I also burned out from it all by the time my senior year rolled around. So I also realize that there is balance when it comes to sports.
I spent many years as team mom and I got pretty good at combining my professional experience in Project Management, IT, Photography and Graphic Design with my love for my girls and cheerleaders and that is when Cait & Olivia came to life.
I started an Etsy Shop and started creating shirts and digital products. The shop is now called Team Mom Boutique and it quickly became a 5 star shop with Star Seller status. More recently I have also started focusing on Photography in the Raleigh, North Carolina focusing on Senior Portraits which I love!
I realized that moms want easy and well designed sports themed products such as fundraising templates, cute cards or gift tags for competitions and even social media templates for gyms and teams.
Interestingly, my biggest sellers right now are fundraising templates. Girls sports have gotten so expensive and so part of what I want to do on this blog is help people with some of the struggles that come along with it all so you can enjoy this precious and fleeting time with your kids. Without the crazy stress!
This blog, builds on the success I have had with my Etsy shop and showcases my Photography work, but is also a space where I can share tips and inspiration for anything parents with busy teens. I am a previous food blogger so this just made sense as the next step for me to help you.
