Hey team moms!  You can elevate your gifting game with a homemade “Blow Away the Judges” candy gift tag! This charming addition is not only easy to create but also pairs wonderfully with some cute bundled Blow Pops.  Perfect for a cheer, dance or gymnastics team, this DIY project is sure to add a burst of fun and sweetness for your next competition.

To get started, you’ll need a few basic crafting supplies:

• Blow Pops: The centerpiece candy for this project. Choose a variety pack for a colorful selection.
• Curling Ribbon: Opt for multiple colors to match the Blow Pop wrappers or to fit the theme of your event.
• Blow Away the Judges Digital File: You can purchase your digital files in my shop, Team Mom Boutique!

1. Purchase your tags and gather your materials

You can get your tags for this project from my Etsy shop and then download to your computer.  Gather all of your materials for the candy gift tags ahead of time to make the project quick and easy.  Grab another parent or your child to help, too!  I always say many hands make light work!

2. Print and Cut

Once you have downloaded your design, print it out on cardstock for durability.  I suggest printing as a PDF as they will print the closest to what you see on your screen.  While a good home printer will work, I always suggest using a professional printing service to print these out.  I usually just go online at Office Depot and print them out and it is quick and not expensive at all!   Once you have printed them out, use scissors to carefully cut out each tag, following the outline of your design.

3. Punch a Hole

Use your hole punch to create a small hole at the top of each tag. This is where you’ll thread the ribbon through, so make sure it’s not too close to the edge.

4. Attach to Blow Pops

Take a piece of curling ribbon and wrap several times around two of the blow pops to secure them together.  Cut a length of curling ribbon, thread it through the hole in your tag, and then tie it securely around the base of the Blow Pop wrappers. Use scissors to curl the ribbon ends for a festive touch.

5. Add a Personal Note

If you wish, you can write a personal note on the back of the tag, adding an extra layer of thoughtfulness to your gift.
